Tanya Martin's Story

Ms. Martin oversees three programs in Delaware County assisting reentry, unemployment, and veterans’ affairs through workforce development. She prides herself in changing the way each participant sees the world. Ms. Martin is a multi-talented professional with experience working in the human resources, healthcare, education, and nonprofit industries by providing skill development and leadership. She offers solutions to employer-specific training needs and executes strategic initiatives using a results-oriented approach to develop working relationships in the process. She is attentive to goals and has a competitive nature where clear, measurable, and transparent performance metrics are valued. She performs well across a wide variety of roles and industries, has good follow-through, is cooperative and goal-oriented. 

 

While working on numerous projects, Ms. Martin has grown each program while facing difficulties and allowing each participant the opportunity to strive. When working collaboratively with others she brings a sense of calm and stability in a fast-paced environment. Ms. Martin is highly coachable, flexible, and adaptable, all of which have enabled her to stand out from the crowd. She believes being underestimated is one of the biggest competitive advantages you can have and she embraces it. Ms. Martin sees the potential in everyone and knows that they need to be guided and encouraged to find their version of success. She will always be an advocate to the population she serves.
