Eric Fontanez-Baez

Center Supervisor & Workforce Development Trainer

Eric Fontanez-Baez is a Center Supervisor and Workforce Development Trainer at the Business Interface office in Dover. He has over 30 years of experience in banking, finance, and management both in the consumer and business sectors. He also has over 20 years of experience as an educator.


Mr. Fontanez-Baez graduated from the Banking Institute of Puerto Rico in 1983 with an associate degree in banking and accounting with honors. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s in business management, and he has completed his five-year certification in pastoral ministries and christian education. Mr. Fontanez-Baez is an active Minister with the United Methodist Church and is also involved in local and state church and community organizations. He is the president of the Council of Pastors for the State of Delaware (COPAD).


When he is not hard at work, Mr. Fontanez-Baez loves spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, reading, and playing musical instruments.
